Default Soulreaping older versions

I've looked everywhere for this and I can't seem to find it. I wanna find a history of Soul Reaping and it's changes throughout the entire history of Guild Wars. GWW only seems to go so far. Cheers for any help.

I know before its current version it was only once every 5 seconds, and 1/2 energy from spirits.

Before that I think it was no time limit and 1/2 energy from spirits, or full energy from spirits. I think that was how it went.

If you're really serious and have the patience, you can check here which has every Guild Wars update ever. If you've got that kind of patience to sift through them all, my hat's off to ya.

This is straight out of the Prima Official Game Guide for Guild Wars circa 2005 (an ancient scroll I found in my travels).

Soul Reaping: This allows the Necromancer to draw upon the spirits of dead corpses, restoring small portions of Energy for each dead body on the field. For each creature (ally, enemy, minion, pet, or anyone else) who dies close to you, you will gain energy equal to your ranks in Soul Reaping. It's a handy attribute for any Necromancer style.

And from the Prima Guild Wars Factions Official Guidebook circa 2006, it is printed as follows.

Soul Reaping (Primary): The Necromancer's primary attribute, improves your ability to gain Energy whenever a creature near you dies.

Don't know if this helps you any, but thought I would share it with you.

For most of the time Soul Reaping was gain 1 energy per rank of soul reaping for anything that died - players, enemies, spirits, minions.

Then it was changed to getting the energy only once every 5 seconds for creatures dying.

After was only once every 5 seconds and half for spirits.

Then it was max of 3 triggers every 15 seconds for every creature but spirits and you would get full energy for spirits you controlled.

And we arrived at the state it is now.

You can check this on http://guildwars.wikia.com. Go to the soul reaping article, history tab on the top right corner and you can compare versions and see the changes.
